Project Engineer for the $.9 m, 15,000 sf, two level, exotic night club renovation at the intersection of 3rd Avenue S. and 3rd Street S. in downtown Minneapolis, MN. Responsible for architect and consultant selection, all phases of design and construction including cost estimating, scheduling, construction management and on site subcontractor supervision and coordination.

PROJECT ENGINEER (7/97 - 9/97) Allied Signal - Commercial Avionics Systems:
Project Engineer for the $40 m, 520,000 sf, fast-track/design-build manufacturing facility located in Kansas City, Kansas. Responsible for construction scheduling and on site subcontractor supervision and coordination for the sitework and footings/foundation phase.

PROJECT ENGINEER (3/97 - 6/97) Allied Signal - Automotive Division:
Project Engineer for the $2.5 m, 45,000 sf, design-build break pad manufacturing facility located in Panama City, Florida. Responsible for all phases of construction including scheduling and on site subcontractor supervision and coordination.

PROJECT MANAGER (6/97 - 3/97) Anchor Bank:
Project Manager for the $3.5 m, 57,000 sf, bank /office building located in Apple Valley, MN. Served as the Owners Representative responsible for overall project team coordination.

PROJECT ENGINEER (7/96 - 2/97) Johnson Controls - Automotive Division:
Project Engineer for the $3.5 m, 55,000 sf, design-build automobile seat manufacturing facility located in Hudson, WI. Responsible for all phases of construction including scheduling and on site subcontractor supervision and coordination.

PROJECT ENGINEER (7/96 - 1/97) United Health Care Hangar Facility:
Project Engineer for the $2.7 m, 23,000 sf, design-build corporate hangar facility located in St. Paul, MN at the Downtown Airport (Holman Field). Responsible for all phases of construction including scheduling and on site subcontractor supervision and coordination.

PROJECT ENGINEER (2/95 - 12/95) Walgreens:
Project Engineer for the $900,000, 16,000 sf, retail facility located in White Bear Lake, MN. Responsible for architect and consultant selection, all phases of design and construction including cost estimating, scheduling, construction management and on site subcontractor supervision and coordination.

PROJECT MANAGER (6/95 - 8/95) Redwing Mall Theater:
Project Manager for the $300,000, 13,000 sf, Redwing Mall Theater located in Redwing, MN. Served as the Owners Representative responsible for overall project team coordination and construction scheduling.

PROJECT MANAGER (4/94 - 11/94) Printed Media Services:
Project Manager for the $1.5 m, 20,000 sf, printing press area and office renovation project located in Golden Valley, MN. Served as the Owners Representative responsible for overall project team coordination and construction scheduling.

PROJECT ENGINEER (2/94 - 4/94) Dungarvin, Inc.:
Project Engineer for the $70,000, 3,000 sf, office renovation located in St. Paul, MN. Responsible for all phases of construction including cost estimating, scheduling, construction management and on site subcontractor supervision and coordination.

PROJECT ENGINEER (1/94 - 3/94) Times Restaurant:
Project Engineer for the $40,000, 2,000 sf, restaurant renovation located in Minneapolis, MN. Responsible for all phases of construction including cost estimating, scheduling, construction management and on site subcontractor supervision and coordination.

PROJECT ENGINEER (11/91-3/93) The Gap Building:
Project Engineer for the $1.5 million, build to suit, 15,000 sf, three level, retail building project at the southwest corner of Hennepin Avenue and Lake Street in Minneapolis, MN (The second busiest intersection in the Mpls./St. Paul metro area). Responsible for architect and consultant selection, all phases of design and construction including cost estimating, scheduling, construction management and on site subcontractor supervision and coordination.

PROJECT MANAGER (1/92-4/92) Comedy Gallery:
Project Manager for the $200,000, 5,000 sf, 300 seat, Comedy Gallery in the St. Anthony Main Mall in Minneapolis, MN. Responsible for all phases of design, cost estimating, scheduling, and Project Management.

PROJECT ENGINEER (5/91-3/93) Great American Real Estate:
Project Engineer for two separate interior office renovation phases ranging in cost from $200,00 to $400,000 in the Department of Commerce Building, St. Paul, MN. Responsible for architect and consultant selection, all phases of design and construction including cost estimating, scheduling, construction management and on site subcontractor supervision and coordination.

PROJECT ENGINEER (10/90-12/91) Gabberts Inc.:
Project Manager for the $4.0 m, 150,000 sf, Gabberts Furniture and Design Studio renovation and expansion project located in Edina, MN. Responsible for all phases of design and construction including cost estimating, scheduling, construction management and on site subcontractor supervision and coordination.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER (9/90-2/91) Lakes Office Building:
Construction Manager for the $1.2 m, 45,000 sf, Lakes Office Building renovation located on the north end of Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis, MN. Responsible for all phases of design, budgeting, scheduling, and construction management.

PROJECT ENGINEER (1/90-11/90) Galtier Plaza:
Project Engineer for the $3.5 million retail renovation of Galtier Plaza in downtown St. Paul, MN. Project included complete demolition and renovation of over 40,000 sf of retail space on three different floors. 27 tenant spaces were added including 13 food - related / restaurant spaces. The renovation work also included the 400 seat Scott Hanson's Comedy Gallery. Responsible for architect and consultant selection, all phases of design and construction including cost estimating, scheduling, construction management and on site subcontractor supervision and coordination.

VICE PRESIDENT OF DEVELOPMENT (3/89-12/89) Prime Development corporation, Eden Prairie, MN:
Responsible for all phases of development for three Super Value Retail Center projects. Responsibilities included feasibility studies, proformas, marketing program, land acquisition, construction management, and retail leasing. The centers ranged in cost from $4.5 million to $6.0 million.

PROJECT MANAGER (1985-1989) Opus Corp., Mpls, MN:
Oversaw the completion of fast-track, design-build commercial construction projects, serving as team leader and main client contact. Responsible for development of design, budgets, estimates, negotiation and selection of subcontractors, scheduling, and completion of construction. Major projects have included:

    St. Therese Care Center, Hopkins, MN:
    A $20 m, 227-unit luxury senior apartment complex with full amenities. Encompasses 330,000 sf in four bldg's.

    Gateway North, Minnetonka, MN:
    A $17 m, 222,000 sf, 10-story office building with a two-level parking ramp.

    American Family Insurance Claims Offices:
    Arden Hills and Rochester, MN. $1.4-million, 20,000 sf buildings each.

    International Plaza, Bloomington, MN:
    Assisted with leasehold improvement work in this $12 m, 270,000 sf, 10-story office building.

U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS (1977-1984)
Construction Branch, St. Paul, MN Positions have included:

    Project Engineer (1982-1984)
    Review and recommend for funding EPA Federal grants program projects. Conducted value engineering analysis and bidability / constructability reviews on a variety of sanitary / environmental projects, ranging in cost from $2 m to $ 40 m.

    Project Engineer (1979-1984)
    Authorized Representative of the Contracting Officer on a variety of projects ranging in cost from $50,000 to $ 2 m. Responsibilities included all phases of contract administration and construction management, including construction quality control, safety program enforcement, and performing construction inspections and testing.

    Assistant Project Engineer (1979-1983)
    Authorized Representative of the Contracting Officer on the $50 m Lock and Dam No. 1 Rehabilitation Project. This multi-phase project consisted of 14 prime contractors and approximately 30 subcontractors. Major work phases required 2 ten-hour work shifts per day, working seven days per week. Responsibilities included all phases of contract administration and construction management, including construction quality control, safety program enforcement, and performing construction inspections and testing.

    Project Engineer (1979-1980)
